MMSLN was switching from Eventbright to Zoom Events and the right triggers were not available in Zoom Events inside Zapier.
They also wanted to be able to set up and manage an Airtable system that would update certain fields for the attendees and either append data or replace the contents of the field depending on the field.
The Solution
Connex worked with MMSLN to develop a procedure where a new zap is created (duplicated) for each event they create since the Zapier trigger required it and the Zoom Events API method consumed too many tasks just looking for new registrations.
Now MMSLN has an accurate, up to date Airtable system that functions both as a CRM and a class roster, saving time on reporting and analysis by not having to login to multiple screens in Zoom Events to see the status of events or persons.
The Results
Through these automations and the Airtable system MMSLN is able to save 10 hours a month in reporting and analysis. They also have significantly better-organized data and can easily analyze their userbase/client list.
